Today we went to Union Square which has a farmers market five days a week. Christie then gave Kenny and myself her very own personal tour of of the area leading us through Gramacy Park to the Flatiron building and Madison Square Park.

The flatiron buildingChristie and I then spent the afternoon shopping up a storm at Filene's Basement (discount designer store), DSW (designer shoe warehouse) and Macy's. I came away with 3 pairs of shoes, a hat/beanie, 2 rings, a pair of earrings and a bag. Tonight we met Christie's friend Lauryl for dinner before I headed back to the hostel and Christie went out for a drink with Kenny.
