Day 4 in New York

Today we visited the John Lennon memorial called Strawberry Fields in Central Park. It was pretty easy to miss (just like the one in Prague Seh!). We then walked to the Natural History Museum which we were only going to go into if it was free because we had been into the one in DC. It wasn't free so we left.

Next we caught the train to Madison Square Garden and then walked through Chelsea. We walked past an area that was cordoned off with police tape and there were cops everywhere. We heard a bunch of different people saying what they thought had happened. It ranged from a bank hold-up, a bank currently being held up or someone getting shot. We found out later that an older guy tried to hold up the bank with a knife but the security guard or a cop shot him in the leg. Just another day in New York City.

We then spent some time shopping and then headed back to the hostel so I didn't push myself too hard while sick. It started to rain which turned into a downpour so we hung out for the rest of the night at the hostel, reading and watching movies. It was nice to just have a bit of normal relaxation.

  1. omg I didn't notice Lindy's when I was at Madison Square Garden! Awesome!

Haha, we had trouble finding Strawberry Fields. But it's so pretty there; I love the whole of Central Park. Would've liked more time to explore it more.

Loved hearing your voice just now! Miss you and love you. <3
