Day 10 in Boston

On Tuesday I took Mum out to see some of Boston. We walked from Cambridge, across the Longfellow Bridge, through Beacon Hill (making a pit-stop at Beacon Hill Chocolates) and through Boston Public Garden. We then walked, and shopped, down Newbury Street and made our way to the Prudential Centre where we had a late lunch and then shopped in Saks.

The sculpture in Public Garden as a tribute to author Robert McCloskey who wrote 'Make Way For Ducklings'

While in Saks, we met a guy who used to live in Perth. Not only that but he lived around the corner from where we live now, he was a frequent visitor at the old Shenton Park Hotel, he went to the same school as my Dad and he also helped my ex-boss set up her Dymocks store when it first opened. He also knew a bunch of people Mum knew from when she was growing up. How is that for random coincidences!

Bec, Mum and I later had dinner at the Cambridge Brewing Company.

  1. Haha, that is so bizarre about the guy you met!

Lovelovelove both of these photos, the duck sculptures are just awesome and the other photo is incredibly pretty.

    Miss you xoxo
