Yesterday, Wednesday, Mum and I caught the train to Rockport, which is a coastal town about an hour north of Boston. It is also where they filmed the movie The Proposal. It is really pretty but at this time of the year, it is absolutely freezing! Because it is the 'off season' alot of the galleries and shops are closed because there are very few tourists around because only crazy people would go to a seaside town on 2 degree days! Anyway, we wandered around the town for a couple of hours until it was time to catch our returning train.

RockportOnce back in Boston, I took Mum to Harvard and gave her my own tour of the place, where it concluded in us buying a pile of merchandise. We then caught the train back to MIT and bought some MIT merchandise before meeting Bec and Gaj for dinner at Vapiano, which, if you remember, is the awesome Italian place Christie and I found in Washington DC and New York. We then hunted around for some dessert before coming home and sleeping.
